Bringing together law and innovation to create the Lawyer 2.0
The world of technology is evolving at a rapid pace and we need to evolve alongside it to create a better future. That is our mission at KIIPS - to bring together law and innovation to create the Lawyer 2.0 who will accomplish that goal.
The recently rebranded King’s Information Technology and Intellectual Property Law Society (KIIPS) is committed to bringing together law and technology enthusiasts and connecting them with leading professionals in the area. From workshops aimed at improving students’ and associate members’ skills to lecture series in areas ranging from IT and IP Law to emerging technologies (with an emphasis on Artificial Intelligence and the Internet of Things) as well as meet-ups with UK’s Legal Tech start-ups - KIIPS is truly a Society for everyone. The Society will not only provide informative guides and sessions for LLB, LLM, and PhD students, but also for those from different disciplines - it is a Society with the aim to bring together a wide range of people to foster an environment of creativity and innovation.
So whether you’re an undergraduate or postgraduate student studying law, medicine, music, etc.; an alumni; or a member of a different university/organisation - contact us via firstname.lastname@example.org or via our Facebook page (@kiips) to find out more about what we got in store for you.
